A sightseeing horse drawn carriage located near Kameoka Torokko Station on the Sagano Scenic Railway/Torokko train. There are two plans: a course that takes you to the Hozugawa boat ride (approx. 25 minutes) and a tour course that takes you around the area and returns (approx. 15 minutes).
Although horses are large, weighing up to 1 ton, they have very calm personalities and are easy to interact with. The 5 minute drive takes a leisurely 25 minutes. This is an experience unique to Kameoka, where you can enjoy the gentle breeze and the rich natural scenery of Hozugawa River while listening to the paka-paka sound of horses walking.
