As we approach the autumn leaves season in 2023, we will be holding a "light-up" event along the Sagano Romantic Train line.
This year, more lighting equipment has been added than last year, and the event is titled ''Fantasy Train of Light'' creating an even higher quality display of the mysteriously colored mountains and rivers sparkling with bright lights.
In addition, some areas will be decorated with ''illuminations'' (scheduled to start from November 1st), allowing you to enjoy more fantastic scenery than ever before from the trolley window.
During this period, we will be running special trains, Sagano/Sagano Rich No. 81, 82, 91, and 92, so that as many customers as possible can enjoy the event, so please take this opportunity to come and see us. (Please check the service schedule for detailed operation dates of special trains)

In addition to the conductor's guidance, the Sagano Scenic Railway also offers a multilingual audio guide service in Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean to make your journey even more enjoyable.
