The town of Kameoka, which once flourished as a castle town under the rule of Akechi Mitsuhide and his Kameyama Castle, is home to the Hozugawa River Boat Ride boarding site, Yunohana Onsen Hot Spring Resort, and many other historical sites and sightseeing locales.

Kameoka Torokko Station is also conveniently located for the Hozugawa River Boar Ride, and is a great base for exploring the town through a rafting excursion, a scenic carriage ride.Visitors can also use the customer parking lot in front of the station.

10 min. on foot from Umahori Station on the JR Sanin Main Line (Sagano Line). 6 min. by car from the Shino IC on the Kyoto Jukan Expressway.
