Diorama Kyoto Japan covers 12.3 x 17.3 meters (a total of 285.15 square meters including the underground extra track), and features 2.7 kilometers of track. It is truly one of Japan's largest railroad dioramas.
More than anything, this diorama is well known for the highly intricate designs of Kyoto sites and scenery.
Temples, shrines, and historical sites are easily spotted. The various model trains running among them can be operated from a control board that resembles a real train's driver's seat. It is truly a special experience that will create amazing memories for any visiting families.

There is a popular astronomy show airing every 30 minutes. Constellations sparkle in the night sky, and as the lights begin to come on in the town, so do those inside the train cars, creating an enchanting atmosphere.

Other unique features of our diorama are the driver's seats of the Blue Train and freight train EF 66 electric train (which actually ran on tracks) from which you can operate the HO scale model railroads.

Kids can rent and wear a conductor's cap as they run the HO scale Express Hayabusa while watching video hooked up to a miniature camera attached to the train! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young train lovers to create lasting memories.
